#2 Who Taught You How To Kill?

We open up in the Core of Isafaro located in Sector Seven. We see General Vulture sitting behind his desk in his office when Sergei enters the room. He walks towards the desk and drops the file with the name “Legion” on his desk. Vulture opens the file and flips through the pages.

General Vulture: Very good, Sergei. It's nice to have competence return to my command. With Dr. Harlan's files we'll be able to make many more like Legion. Speaking of which, Alexander! Where is Legion at currently?

Alexander: Looking over Legion's whereabouts on the Illuminati Legion is making her way through Sector Eleven. Slowly.

General Vulture: She's taking her time, testing her limits before facing the real threat. Just like a Vulture.

Alexander: We still need to talk about what to do with her. If she makes her way to the Core–

General Vulture: Sergei will make her wish she's never been born.

Alexander: I think she already wishes that.

The door to the office opens and Carari comes in with Vulture guards.

Carari: General, it's been too long.

General Vulture: Carari Grey. To what do I owe the honor of this visit?

Carari: Do I need a reason to visit my favorite General?

General Vulture: You are not a woman to waste your time with casual visits.

Carari: True. I do have a business to run.

General Vulture: Then get to the point.

Carari: You and your men have been awfully busy dealing with the Resistance, Jherrazad, Hallowton, that I thought you and your men could use a little R and R, and I have the perfect entertainment planned. Aminee Starlight wants to perform for you and your men.

Alexander: The Pop Idol?

Carari: My crowning achievement. I helped put her on the map, and she put Carari Incorporated on the map. Win, win.

General Vulture: Where?

Carari: Wherever you want it to be. Right here in the Core, if you so desired.

Alexander: Why would Aminee want to perform here? The people hate the Vulture, it'd be career suicide.

Carari: That's what I said, but she loves her General so much she insists on performing live for him. Free of charge, of course.

General Vulture: Tell your client that I would be more than happy to welcome her in the presence of real men.

Carari: I'll make the preparations now.

Carari takes her leave with the guards who came in with her.

Alexander: We're in the middle of fighting three wars, one on our own soil, and you're inviting Pop Stars to our base?

General Vulture: Alexander, you are a scientist. Does this situation concern science?

Alexander: No.

General Vulture: Then shut up!

We enter the Resistance Base where Drake, Ayanna, and Zach are on their way to the prison cells.

Drake: Whistles to Madeira Hey, baby! How would you like your cherry popped? Come visit me sometime.

Madeira: Looks at him in disgust

Ayanna: Drake, shut up!

Drake: Hey, Meryl! Hey! Don't look away from me I could recognize that ass anywhere. How's your dad? I've seen that hot piece of ass he's banging at home. What I wouldn't give to–!

Meryl: Storms up to Drake and punches him in the face

Drake: Falls down on his ass Whew! Still feisty.

Meryl: Go to hell!

Resistance Soldier: That's enough out of you!

The Resistance Soldier picks Drake up and carries him off with the others. We cut to Imai's office where Imai, Logan, and Armando are talking.

Imai: You're talking about infiltrating the Core. The most dangerous place in all of Isafaro. It'd be a suicide mission!

Armando: For one reason or another Vulture doesn't know that Aminee is with us yet. We can use that to our advantage. She goes in, gets the file, and gets out.

Logan: Are we sure that's all we want her to do?

Armando: What do you mean?

Logan: If she's going to be that close to the Vulture, now might be our best chance at taking him out.

Armando: No. If Aminee kills General Vulture she'll never be able to get out of there alive.

Logan: Isn't that worth the risk if it means ending the war?

Armando: A guy like Vulture is going to have a chain of command. Kill him and the next man in line will just take his place.

Imai: I agree with Armando. However, while she's in there she may be able to point out the other men in the chain of command. Give us their names and faces so we know who to target for later.

Armando: Sounds good.

Imai: But I don't want her going in there alone.

Armando: Don't worry. I already have that covered.

Cut to: Resistance Base First Floor

Deadpool: Hi, Ami! Guess what? I'm your entourage! Gets down on one knee and holds up flowers to Aminee Aminee, oh, Aminee, why art thou so awesome?

Aminee: Stares at Deadpool blankly and then walks away

Madeira: Walks over to Aminee Do promise me you'll be careful. You're going to be surrounded by a lot of dangerous people in there.

Aminee: All I have to do is sing, dance, and shake my ass. Don't worry, hon, this is what I do.

Madeira: And that works?

Aminee: Oh, Made. Sweet, sweet, innocent Made. I have so much to teach you. Lesson One: the fastest way to a man's heart is through his cock.

Madeira: That sounds incredibly painful.

Logan: Approaches the group Aminee, can I talk to you for a minute?

Aminee and Logan walks to somewhere private.

Aminee: You come to tell me to be careful, too?

Logan: No. I've come here to give you this. Hands Aminee a knife

Aminee: Takes knife What am I supposed to do with this?

Logan: You're going to be close to the Vulture. Closer than any of us has ever been. If you get the chance, you kill him.

Aminee: Are these Imai's orders as well?

Logan: Yes.

Aminee: Well, that would certainly save my career. The woman who killed General Vulture. I like the sound of that.

Logan: Be careful.

Aminee: Where's the fun in that?

Cut to: Limousine

Aminee and Deadpool are sitting in the back of the limo. Deadpool is wearing all black complete with a mask to hide his identity, and Aminee is wearing a brown coat.

Aminee: Now, here's the plan, while I'm entertaining the Vulture's crew, you sneak out and start looking for those files. Once you have them we get out and act like nothing happened, do you understand?

Deadpool: You mean, I don't get to see the show?

Aminee: Wade...

Deadpool: Yeah, yeah. Grab the files and get out. Got it.

The limo stops.

Aminee: Time to start the show.

Aminee and Deadpool exit the limo to red carpet and flashes of cameras' lights all around them as they make their way for the Core. Deadpool stops to pose for all the different camera shots while Aminee walks on not paying any attention to the crowd. We cut to the top floor where Vulture, Ocelot, Sergei, Alexander, Carari, and several of the Vulture's troops are waiting, most of them sitting down while Ocelot and Sergei remains standing. Aminee walks up to the center of the room so all the Vulture troops can see her. Whistles and dog calls coming all around as she looks at General Vulture.

General Vulture: Welcome to the Core, Ms Starlight. It is a pleasure to have you with us.

Aminee: Please, call me Aminee, and the pleasure is all mine. Starts to unbutton the top two buttons on her coat I'm sure you boys don't mind if I make myself a little more comfort?

The soldiers cheer loudly.

Aminee: I didn't think so. Signals for her music to play

Deadpool: Click play on the CD player

Aminee: The music begins playing as Aminee moves her hips back and forth, letting her hair wave around her head as she gets into the mood. You're like a drop of acid ring. You're melting my flesh, running through my veins. My body feels like it's in a cold, somehow I lost my self control. You got me hot, you got me off! Damn it's so hot I'm tearing my clothes off! General Vulture attention is only on Aminee, Ocelot didn't care for the performance, Sergei only looks on indifferent, Alexander's eyes widen at the sight, and Carari moves her head slightly back and forth to the music. Deadpool starts to sneak out while Aminee is distracting them.

Deadpool: Time to be stealthy!

Aminee gets up to her feet and walks over to Vulture, but she's stop by the guards. Vulture wave them off and they move out of the way allowing Aminee to sit on his lap and start grinding against him You got me hot, you got me off! Damn it's so hot I'm tearing my clothes off! The madder Deadpool gets, the faster he... heals... Sees the Legion file sitting on the table on the other side of the room Eureka! Runs over to it and grabs it Where have you been all my life? Flips through the pages We have taken the DNA of demons – Blah, blah, blah! Multiple thoughts running through her mind all at once – Yada, yada, yada! Today we tested Legion – all caps – against the Shock Troops of the unit Plague – once again all caps – their brains exploded from inside their skulls... Deadpool disappears and then gets real close to the screen.

Deadpool: There you go, DoA members. I hope you've enjoyed your site reference so you can feel special for two lousy seconds. The poor saps at the other forums Tori posts this on aren't going to know what the hell I'm talking about. Hears soldiers starting to rush towards the labs. Uh oh! Gotta run! Flees

Cut to: The Core Top Floor

General Vulture takes Aminee into his arm, Aminee wrapping her arm over his shoulder while he has his over her waist, hand down on her ass as they walk

General Vulture: Aminee and I will be moving this party elsewhere. The rest of you back to work.

Vulture and Aminee enters his private bed chambers. Immediately embracing each other in a deep, passionate kiss against the wall before moving towards the bed. Aminee removes his shirt, exposing his bare chest, and removing the hat from his head. They fall on the bed, Aminee straddling the General and kissing up and down his chest, playing with his neck and kissing his lips some more. She starts, smiling at the General. The General smiles back, watching Aminee go down to undo his belt and jeans, pulling them down and moving back up to his chest. Aminee's hand slips downward, taking out the knife. Vulture closes his eyes, enjoying Aminee's touch as she brings the knife up and aims it for Vulture's heart. Vulture catches it right before it could penetrate his heart and opens his eyes to look at Aminee.

General Vulture: Big mistake.

Sergei: Grabs Aminee from behind and drags her off the bed

General Vulture: Get her out of my sight. I grow bored of her.

Aminee spits in Vulture's face before Sergei drags her out of the room. Vulture wipes the spit off of his face. The camera switches back to the top floor where Deadpool is looking around for Aminee.

Deadpool: Where Ami go? Hey! Ami! Where are you?

Deadpool sees Sergei coming out with Aminee in hand.

Aminee: Wade, get out of here!

Sergei signals for the soldiers to attack. They get up and starts shooting at Deadpool who starts repelling bullets with his Katana blades. The soldiers start firing explosive rounds destroying the blades as soon as they come into contact with it.

Deadpool: NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Gets down on his knees and cradle the swords in his arms Hush, little baby, don't say a word. Mama gonna buy you a mockingbird. If that mockingbird don't sing, Mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring. Sobs. Stands up and starts shooting all the Vulture's guys with his guns while running through the floors and jumping out the window I can do this! All I have to do is not look down and I'll keep running back to home base! Falls down hitting the ground hard. Slowly pulls himself up from the pavement to find tanks all around him Oh boy.

Deadpool gets shot to hell by the tanks, but after they finish firing Deadpool, most of his outfit gone showing his hideous form, gets on top of one of the tanks, open the cockpit and pulls out the driver inside.

Deadpool: Mind if I steal this? Tosses him aside and gets in the tank That's a sport! Let's see what this baby can do! Starts firing the tank's main gun, grenades, missiles, and laser beams Is there anything this thing can't do? Starts teleporting The tank can teleport! Teleports around the base WOOHOO! Finds the turbo switch and flips it on Switch into turbo! Blasts off at high speeds and escapes the Core

Cut to: The Core Top Floor

Ocelot: Approaches Sergei who is holding Aminee Take her to the interrogation room. I'm going to have some fun with her.

Aminee: Struggles as they carry her away

#7 Descent into Hell

The scene opens up in the throne room of Jherrazad's tower. We see Gabrielle sitting down in her new throne with the Kasul in her hands. She looks over the sword, her fingers trailing down the strange markings etch onto the blade and looks up when she hears footsteps. Alexander and Kaso enters the throne room with a couple of guards, the group kneeling before Gabrielle and standing back up with their arm to their heart.

Alexander: We await your orders, My Empress.

Gabrielle: You. Guy with the...

Jherrazad Soldier #1: Musket?

Gabrielle: Yeah, you. There are a lot of hungry people in Jherrazad. Make sure they're well fed.

Jherrazad Soldier #1: At once, My Empress. Leaves

Gabrielle: And you. Tighten our security at the gates in case that woman decides to follow us.

Jherrazad Soldier #2: Bows and leaves

Alexander: Anything you require of us?

Gabrielle: Yes, actually. Mister...

Alexander: Sir Alexander, of Jherrazad Eastern Division. And this is Sir Kaso, of Jherrazad Western Division.

Gabrielle: You can start by explaining to me what all this thing can do. How does it work?

Kaso: Don't you know?

Gabrielle: As a matter of fact I don't.

Alexander: The Kasul drains the souls of its victims with each strike. Even those who so much as touches it without the sword's consent. Once they belong to the Kasul, whoever wields it can summon whatever powers and abilities the user's soul wielded upon death.

Gabrielle: Like healing.

Alexander: Yes.

Kaso: It is essentially an army in one.

Gabrielle: Then what do I need you for?

Kaso: If you wish to take on the whole world by yourself, I will gladly step aside.

Gabrielle: I mean no offense.

Alexander: The Kasul can only go as far as its wielder. With us you'll be able to cover more ground and have people to watch your back.

Gabrielle: Can the Kasul create fire?

Alexander: I believe Ranko has taken the souls of several pyromancers throughout Jherra.

Gabrielle: Round up the troops. We're going to the Crystal Expanse.

The scene fade in on the Jherrazad army marching through the Crystal Expanse. Zora coming up to Gabrielle's right as they ride

Zora: If someone told me a couple of years ago that I would be riding on a smelly camel with a bunch of muggles, I would have told them they were out of their bloody mind!

Gabrielle: Life is full of surprises. I wouldn't have believed half of the things I've seen if I didn't live to experience them.

Jherrazad Soldier #3: Walks right into a claymore mine and explodes

The rest of the group comes to a halt. Gabrielle, Zora, and Joxer looking around in confusion as Alexander, Kaso, and the other Jherrazad soldiers draw their weapons

Alexander: Form a perimeter! Protect the Empress at all cost!

Gabrielle: Alexander, what's going on?

Alexander: We are under attack by the Blind Assassin. The explosive our man stepped on was her calling card.

Gabrielle: Blind Assassin? The woman back at Moon Valley?

Alexander: No. This woman is much more vile. She's been after the crown for years.

Gabrielle: She wants to be the Empress?

Alexander: Only the gods know what goes through that woman's mind.

Gabrielle looks around, listening to the sounds all around her, and then what lays behind the sound. She hears the footsteps of Fukari up ahead and sees the Blind Assassin in the distance.

Gabrielle: She's over there! Our archers should be able to reach her.

Alexander: Archers! Fire!

The archers raise their arrows and fire at Fukari's position. The distance is too far away to clearly make out whether or not the arrows hit their mark. Seconds later, a grenade falls by the Jherrazad army.

Jherrazad Soldier #4: GRENADE!

The grenade activates, but instead of exploding it releases a super sonic sound that threatens to shatter the Jherrazad army's eardrums. Gabrielle, Zora, and Joxer cover their ears as the rest back away from the loud noises of the grenade. Shurikens fly through the air, killing off Jherrazad soldiers one after another.

Gabrielle: Joxer, take Zora to safety.

Zora: No! I want to fight!

Gabrielle: Now isn't the time to argue. Go with Joxer! Alexander, Kaso, you get the rest of the troops behind those rocks and cover me. Once the coast is clear follow where I step.

Gabrielle jumps off of the camel and lands on the ground several feet away. She looks at the ground, being able to pinpoint where the claymores are and avoiding them while dodging in-coming shurikens Fukari throws at her. Gabrielle takes out her sai and throws it at Fukari. Fukari catches the flat ends of the blade with her palm and lets it fall to the ground. Gabrielle throws her second sai and watches Fukari knocks it out of the air. Gabrielle draws the Kasul and charges at Fukari with inhuman speed thanks to the Kasul's power. Fukari draws her Katana at the same speed and the two blades collide, the screams of the blades sounding off so loudly even the Jherrazad army can hear from afar.

Gabrielle: Why are you attacking us?

Fukari doesn't answer. She continues her assault against Gabrielle. Gabrielle parries what she can, but even with her superior speed over Fukari, Fukari's smaller weapon allows her to perform more strikes and inflict more damage to Gabrielle. Gabrielle charges up the Kasul and slams it into the ground causing an explosion to erupt underneath Fukari's feet forcing her back. Gabrielle stays on the offensive, breaking off into more combos with the Kasul, only to have them stuck away by Fukari's sword, the two pushing into the other with their blades as Fukari hears Gabrielle's army closing in.

Fukari: You need an army to defeat one woman?

Gabrielle: No human woman could throw that far.

Fukari: Observant.

Fukari backflips away from Gabrielle, pulling out a detonator and setting off the C4 bury underneath the ground killing several of the Jherrazad soldiers coming this way. Gabrielle tackles Fukari to the ground and starts punching her in the face. Fukari kicks her off, and the two get up to their feet exchanging punches and kicks, Gabrielle getting a good right hook into Fukari's jaw, knocking the woman down before reclaiming the Kasul and bringing it to Fukari's throat.

Gabrielle: I'm going to ask again.

Alexander and Kaso rejoins Gabrielle's side.

Gabrielle: Why did you attack us.

Fukari remains silence.

Gabrielle: Answer me!

Kaso: Kill her.

Gabrielle: What?

Kaso: She killed our men, and attempted to take your life. That is an act punishable by death. Kill her and take her soul!

Zora and Joxer runs up to the scene.

Gabrielle: I'll decide what we do with her.

Zora: Gabrielle, are you all right?

Gabrielle: I'm fine, Zora. Looks back at her men Tie her up and put her on the camel. We'll return her to the dungeons for questioning after we're done here.

Kaso: This is a mistake.

Gabrielle: That's an order, Sir.

Kaso reluctantly ties Fukari up as he and Alexander escort her back to the camels.

Joxer: Do you think we'll ever get to travel anywhere safely?

Gabrielle: Not in this life.

Zora: I could have helped.

Gabrielle: No, Zora. You saw what happened to those men. I could never live with myself if something happened to you. Let's get back with the others before someone else decides to jumps us.

The three returns to the group and they continue down the expanse. Zora looks over her shoulder to see Fukari riding a camel with ropes holding her in place. Fukari is looking straight at Gabrielle as they ride. Zora turns her head back to Gabrielle.

Zora: She sees fairly well for a blind woman.

Gabrielle: There are other ways to see than with your eyes, Zora. I'll show you some day.

Zora: I don't trust her. You should have killed her.

Gabrielle: No, that's not how we do things.

Zora: She attacked us.

Gabrielle: And killing her would make us no better than she is. You should know now how killing someone changes you. We only kill if we have no other choice, and we should pray that our choices are never taken away.

Zora: You killed Ranko and took her country. What does that make you?

Gabrielle looks at Zora unsure of what to say. We cut to Kain and his group of survivors spotting Gabrielle and her army coming their way. They approach them cautiously as the army comes to a stop.

Kain: Gabrielle, who are these people?

Gabrielle: They're with me. I found out what freed you from the ice. It was a supernova created in Aircano. The tower saved this land from destruction when it went off.

Kain: A supernova? That's amazing! I wish I could have seen it for myself. But, we'll never be able to duplicate that kind of power. It'd be foolish to try.

Gabrielle: I wouldn't be so sure. I'm not about to cause a second supernova, but I think I can create enough heat to melt the rest of the ice in this expanse.

Kain: How?

Gabrielle got down from the camel and draws the Kasul. Kain and the other survivors backs away from Gabrielle in fear.

Kain: The Kasul! You brought that blade here?!

Gabrielle: You know what this is?

Kain: Of course we know. Its evil is unmatched by any other power in all of Genesis!

Gabrielle: Evil? No, I'm going to use it to help you. To revive your fallen nation.

Kain: You keep that blade away from us and these lands. We want no part in it!

Gabrielle: You don't have to be afraid.

Fukari: Why shouldn't they be? The Kasul is a demon blade. Only death and destruction follows wherever it goes.

Zora: It's just a stupid sword! It can't be good or evil on its own.

Fukari: How naive. You truly are foreigners in this land. You'll learn soon enough. Even the purest of hearts can turn to black at the hand of the Kasul. Empress Ranko was once a good-hearted woman. Think about that.

Alexander: Silence your tongue, vile woman, before I silent it for you.

Fukari: I have a name you know. It's Fukari. I suggest you get used to speaking it.

Alexander strikes Fukari.

Gabrielle: Alexander! That's enough.

Gabrielle turns back to Kain.

Gabrielle: Listen, I understand that you're afraid, but you have my word. I am only going to use this sword to help you.

Kain draws a small blade of ice from his jacket.

Kain: I said keep away!

Kaso: Protect the Empress!

Gabrielle: No, wait!

Kaso plunges his great sword into Kain's heart while the Jherrazad soldiers fire off their muskets slaughtering the rest of Kain's camp. Gabrielle screams and runs over to Kain's body holding it in her arms.

Gabrielle: What have you done?

Kaso: They threatened your life. I performed my sworn duty.

Gabrielle: They were the last of their people!

Kaso: That matters not to me.

Gabrielle stands up and stares Kaso down.

Gabrielle: I was handling it.

Kaso: You were handling it poorly.

Gabrielle: The next time you act without my say–

Kaso: You'll what? Tie me to a camel and take me on a ride across the countryside? I do not know what the Kasul has planned for you. All I know is that it chose a weak leader.

Alexander: Kaso, you speak too freely!

Kaso: I have served Jherrazad faithfully for countless generations! I've earned my place to say what I wish.

Gabrielle: That's right, Alexander. Kaso has earned his place.

Kasul: Inaudible whispers

Gabrielle swings the Kasul upward, cutting through the neck of Kaso cleanly despite wearing armor and removing the head from his body. Kaso's head falls into the ground while his body collapses in on itself. The others in the group look on not believing what they've seen. All but Fukari who sat on her camel calmly.

Gabrielle: In Hades.

The scene fade to black with everybody staring at Gabrielle speechless.

The scene fade in on a farm in Moon Valley. Tori and Zira approaches the farm's gate as they talk

Zira: This is where you lived?

Tori: I used to play with the animals all the time. After I helped dad tend the farm for the day. Me and my brother both.

Zira: A brother, too? You're lucky.

Tori: No siblings?

Zira: I was an only child. According to my parents they did have one baby before me, but she was stillborn. They said she was born with silver eyes. The strangest thing.

Tori: I'm sorry.

Zira: It happens. Nothing we can do about it. I still had a good life, before Vulture came and took it all away.

Tori: The less I hear that name the better.

Zira: Here, here.

Tori and Zira enters through the gates and head for the house. On the way Zira spots a child with an infant in her hand. The child pushes off the fence she was leaning back on and looks at them suspiciously.

Zira: There's a little girl here.

Tori: What does she look like?

Zira: Short black hair, brown eyes, and the coolest hat I've ever seen.

Clementine: Tori!

Tori: Do I know you?

Clementine: It's me, Clementine.

Tori: I'm sorry. I don't know any Clementine.

Clementine: We met back at the motor inn.

Tori: A motor what?

Zira: She's telling the truth, Tori. I can see you in her mind. I don't know how, I don't know why, but it's there.

Tori: What is this, Doctor Who? Look, kid – Clementine, you must have me mixed up with somebody else. I'm sorry.

Clementine: But you have the same name, and blindfold, and the cane you used. You helped me, Lee, and the others fight off walkers. Don't you remember?

Zira: What's the fuck a walker?

Clementine: You know, as in the walking dead.

Zira: You mean zombies?

Clementine: We call them walkers.

Zira: That's a stupid name.

Clementine: You're stupid!

Zira: Nice comeback, kid.

Clementine: I'm not a kid!

Tori: Is that your baby?

Clementine: No. I'm taking care of him.

Zira: Where are his parents?

Clementine: They're dead.

Tori: Are my parents home?

Clementine: They're inside the house. Are you sure you don't remember me?

Tori: I'm sorry, I don't. That's just means I'll have to get to know you all over again.

Tori, Zira, and Clementine enter the house. Tina comes out into the hall and sees them.

Tina: Terry! Terry, get down here! It's so good to see you!

Tori and Tina hug each other.

Tina: What happened to your eyes?

Tori: I'll explain later.

Terry comes down the stairs and sees Tori

Terry: Am I going to get a hug, or is that just a girl thing?

Tori hugs her father

Terry: Your eyes...

Tina: She'll explain later, dear. We heard what happened in the city. Are you all right?

Tori: Nothing I couldn't handle. Mom, Dad, I'd like you to meet Zira. I met her in the Crystal Expanse.

Zira: It's nice to meet you both.

Tina: Girlfriend?

Zira: No. Why does everyone keep thinking that?

Clementine: You look like a cute couple.

Zira: Shut up!

Clementine: Well you do.

Tina: Let's move this conversation into the living room. You can catch us up there.

Cut to: Jacobs Living Room

Tina: They're all dead?

Tori: I lost them inside the temple during the fight in Aircano. I lost my squad mate Garrus during the attack on Hallowton. It seems like no matter where I go, death always follows.

Clementine: I know how you feel.

Tori: How old are you?

Clementine: I just turned twelve not that long ago.

Tori: You're far too young to be knowing how I feel.

Clementine: Tell me about it.

Tina: Neither of you have to worry about that now. You can stay here.

Terry: We haven't done anything to your old room. Clementine can sleep in your brother's room.

Tori: Where is Toby, anyway?

Terry: He lives further in town with his new girlfriend. Works by the docks.

Tori: I never considered him a dock worker.

Terry: Neither did I. He certainly has the strength to be lifting boxes all day.

Tina: Please tell me you're here to stay.

Tori: I wish I could, Mother. But there's something I have to do.

Zira: We can stay for the night.

Tori: Zira–

Zira: You should spend this time with your family, Tori. Not all of us has that luxury.

Terry: I'll call your brother. Let him know you're here.

Tori: Thank you. I'm going to go and check out my old room.

Tori and Zira leaves the living room and heads up the stairs.

Clementine: Mrs. Jacobs, do you mind watching Alvin for a bit?

Tina: Of course, hon.

Cut to: Tori's Room

Tori: My dad wasn't kidding. They really haven't done anything to my room.

Zira: So, this is the woman cave?

Tori: Woman cave?

Zira: Men call their rooms caves, why can't we?

Tori: I thought it was because we were more sophisticated.

Zira: Depends on the time of day. Or month.

Tori: Did you just make a PMS joke?

Zira: Men do it.

Tori: I don't give a crap what men do.

Tori moves around her room, feeling the soft mattress on her bed, the dry walls, and the books still sitting on the shelf after all this time. She takes one of the books out, dusts it off and smells the pages.

Tori: I haven't sat down with a good book in a long time.

Zira: You read?

Tori: All the time. When I wasn't watching TV or playing video games. A lot of good it does me now, though.

Zira: They make books for the blind.

Tori: Puts the book back None of those are on my shelf.

Zira: You feel weird. Being in your room after all this time. All the deaths.

Tori: You playing Counselor Troi with me?

Zira: It's not something I can control.

Tori: You seem to control your powers well enough in battle.

Zira: Blocking out unwanted thoughts and emotions are harder. Some times I don't feel like myself because I absorb the emotions of the people around me. That's why I like being around you. You're confident, determined, and sexy. It makes me feel confident, determined, and sexy.

Tori: I'm all for making a girl feel sexy.

Zira: You're horrible.

Tori: You're the one who said it.

The two get close. Real close. Smiling at one another as their faces inches closer together. Zira is unsure if she should proceed as Clementine comes in the doorway

Clementine: Am I interrupting?

Zira: N-no! You're not interrupting anything.

Clementine: I started reading your books, but Mrs. Jacobs got mad at me. Didn't want me going into your room.

Tori: Which book?

Clementine: The one about the frogs.

Tori: Ah, Froggy and the Seven Dancing Ducks. Reaches down and grabs the book, going over and handing it to Clementine. Here, I won't be doing much reading anyway. If my mother gives you trouble, jus tell her I okay it.

Clementine: Thanks.

Zira: I'm gonna go wash up.

Tori: Bathroom is to the left.

Zira leaves the room. Tori sits down on the bed as Clementine looks around the room. Her eyes stopping on the poster on the wall.

Clementine: Who's that?

Tori: Arix, Rockstar of Hell. I used to have a crush on him when I was younger.

Clementine: Used to?

Tori: He was an ass. Albeit, a sexy ass, but I soon found out that I leaned more towards the fairer sex.

Clementine: You're a lesbian?

Tori: Bisexual, technically. I just prefer women.

Clementine: I don't know what I prefer.

Tori: You have more than enough time to figure it out. You're not from around here, are you?

Clementine: No.

Tori: How did you end up here?

Clementine: I was running from some walkers with Alvin–

Tori: Alvin's the baby?

Clementine: Yes. While we were running I just ended up in a forest. Ran away from some wolves and that's when Mr. Jacobs found me. He scared the wolves away and brought me here. This is the happiest I've been in a long time. I'm afraid it's not going to last. It never does.

Tori: I'm not going to lie to you, Clementine, there are a lot of bad things here that might make you wish you were back home with the walkers, but there's also a lot of good here too. Good that's worth protecting.

Clementine: You sound like Lee.

Tori: Lee is?

Clementine: A friend. He taught me how to survive back home.

Tori: I'm afraid to ask what happened to him.

Clementine: He died. I had to shoot him. To keep him from turning into one of those things.

Tori: I'm sorry.

Clementine: He's not the only friend I had to kill.

Tori: We all do what we have to do in a tight spot.

Clementine: How do you know if it was the right choice?

Tori: You don't. You justify it to yourself, you reason with yourself, and to others who you share it with. You make an argument for it, and you fight off all counter-arguments that your mind can come up with, but you never know. When the lines are blurred, when all you see are different shades of gray, you can't ever know.

Clementine: Now you really do sound like Lee.

Tori: Lee sounds like a smart guy.

Clementine: He was. Wanna share war stories?

Tori: Sit down and show me what you got.

Clementine sits down next to Tori on the bed.

Clementine: Walkers.

Tori: Zombie soldiers who can wield guns and mutate.

Clementine: Cannibals.

Tori: Werewolves.

Clementine: Bandits.

Tori: Assassins.

Clementine: Crazy guys who wants to make you their daughter.

Tori: Vampires who wants to sire you and make you their wife.

Clementine: Russians.

Tori: You win this round.

The scene fade to black with the two continuing to share.

#1 The Race for Legion

The scene fade on a fighter's jet soaring through the sky of Isafaro. We cut to the inside where Madeira, Kragen, Aminee, Deadpool, and Meryl are sitting down while Armando walks back and forth between them.

Armando: All right, Commandos, we have our orders. We're to go in, locate the research facility in the area, and rescue any civilians we can find. If you have any questions, ask them now. We'll be arriving soon.

Deadpool: Raises hand

Armando: Questions about the assignment.

Deadpool: Lowers hand

Aminee: What are we looking for exactly?

Armando: Vulture was doing experiments on a little girl in this sector. She got loose and flooded the entire area in blood. Tori and the rest of us were lucky to get out of there alive.

Kragen: Some more than others.

Meryl: How is that possible?

Armando: That's what Imai wants us to find out. Looks out the window We're here. Turns to the camera Commandos! Move out!

We open up on Armando and the rest of his squad jumping out of the jets, parachutes coming out of their backpacks as they landed on top of a building's rooftop, looking down to see the blood all over the city

Meryl: How could one child do something like this?

Kragen: Bleed.

Armando: Stay on your guard! That child is capable of abilities we can only imagine, so there's no telling what her presence did to this place. We'll have two teams. Kragen, you lead Aminee and Meryl to find survivors, the rest of us will find the research facility and see what we can learn about the Vulture's experiments.

Kragen: Nods and sets off with Aminee and Meryl

Deadpool: What!? You let the old guy run off with the hot chicks?

Armando and Madeira glance at each other and then walks off with Deadpool trailing close behind.

Deadpool: You know, Boss, I've been thinking, and you know, a commando is someone who blows shit up. So...

Armando: So?

Deadpool: When do we blow shit up?

Armando: Soon.

Deadpool: How soon?

A Vulture chopper flies over their heads

Armando: Real soon.

Cut to: Kragen's Team

Kragen, Aminee, and Meryl zipline from one rooftop to the other searching for survivors when they see the Vulture's helicopter fly over them

Meryl: Vulture.

Aminee: What could they want?

Kragen: The same thing we do.

The helicopter lands two buildings away from Kragen. Kragen, Aminee, and Meryl hides behind the obstacles on the rooftop and peers around them to watch the Vulture troops

Kragen: Binoculars.

Meryl: Takes out her binoculars and gets a closer look at the soldiers. She sees the common Vulture foot soldiers, and then the face of Sergei Dragunov Dragunov!

Aminee: Who?

Meryl: One of Vulture's higher ups. Known as the White Angel of Death. He's extremely dangerous closeup and a master of the Commando Sambo style.

Aminee: Commando Sambo?

Kragen: Irony.

Meryl: They must be here for the files in the research facility. We can't let them make it there.

Kragen: Draws his 50 caliber sniper rifle and aims it at Sergei's head and fires

Sergei: Hears the gunshot and instantly spins out of the path of the bullet. Looking in the direction it came from he motions for his men to go after them

Aminee: So much for that idea.

Aminee comes out of hiding and starts firing at the approaching troops with her twin pistols. Meryl follows her firing from the Desert Eagle while Kragen switches to his HK assault rifle. Sergei watches the firefight and then proceeds to the research facility

Cut to: Armando's Team

Armando, Madeira, and Deadpool get closer to the research facility. On the way, Madeira sees some people stuck on the rooftop across from them, calling out for help

Madeira: There are people over there.

Armando: Our top priority are the files. Leave the rescue to Kragen's team.

The three finally make it to the research facility and rigs part of the roof to blow. They look down through the hole to see it drench in blood

Armando: Looks like we'll have to swim.

Deadpool: Leave it to me. I was my high school swim team's champ five years running!

Madeira: Five?

Armando: I need you here to stand guard in case any of those Vulture troops catch up to us.

Deadpool: Holds out his dual pistols Leave it to me.

Armando and Madeira dive into the blood below and begin swimming in search for the files on Legion. Madeira freaks out when she sees a corpse floating under the blood, but keeps following Armando. The eyes of the corpse opens up and chase the two, grabbing Madeira by the foot. Madeira turns to see the man and tries to kick him off. The man's mouth opening up to reveal a monstrous jaw and razor sharp teeth.

Cut to: Kragen's Team

Aminee: Fires off more shots from the twin pistols and returns to cover These guys can't aim for shit.

Meryl: Lucky us. Gets out of cover and fires off two shots, hitting one Vulture soldier in the chest and head killing him before returning behind cover

Kragen: Fires his gun without even looking, pummeling one Vulture troop with bullets

Aminee: He's good. Think he looks as good as he aims?

Meryl: I'm done dating older men.

Kragen, Aminee, and Meryl sees a grenade land on their rooftop

Aminee: Shit!

The three makes a run for it, the grenade going off and the blast sending them to the ledge of the building. They fall off the ledge and hangs on for dear life as the blood waits to devour them from below.

Cut to: Research Facility

Madeira: Repeatedly kicks the man in the face to get him off her

Armando: Aims his gun arm at the creature, firing off several shots that slowly move through the blood and pierce the creature's body

Madeira: Sees another one sneaking up on Armando and warns him with her hands and face

Armando: Turns around in time to catch the beast swiping at him with his claw, holding it back and slamming his gun arm into the creature's head and throwing him into the direction of Madeira

Madeira: Charges up electricity through the strings of her guitar and hurls it into the creature electrocuting it to death

Cut to: Research Facility Roof

Deadpool: Pacing back and forth swinging his Katanas around This is boring!

Sergei: Lands on the rooftop and tightens his gloves as he looks at Deadpool

Deadpool: Turns around to see Sergei Hey, it's the Tekken guy! Hi, Tekken guy! What brings you here?

Sergei: Enters his fighting stance

Deadpool: You want a fight, eh? One on one, mano a mano. En garde! Rushes Sergei swinging both his swords at him

Sergei: Advances forward, grabbing Deadpool's wrist and twisting his arm backwards while moving to his side, forcing one sword down to the ground as he kicks the other one out of Deadpool's hand. He grabs more of the arm and twists it back further in an attempt to break it

Deadpool: Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Gotta reach the ropes! Stretches his hand out through thin air Oh, yeah. Stomps on Sergei's foot to break the hold and spins around, his pistols out and firing at Sergei in point blank range

Sergei: Holds his arms in front of his face, the bullets piercing his arms and making him bleed, but he continues on, slamming the arms into Deadpool's head to knock him down, not showing any pain on his face

Deadpool: Rolls over, grabs his Katana, gets up and strikes Sergei with the sharp and blunt end of his sword knocking him backwards on the roof

Sergei: Grab Deadpool's head with his palm and begin to crush it, pulling off Deadpool's mask and revealing the ugly face made possible by a terrible disease

Deadpool: Send the children to bed early! Snatch his mask back from Sergei and puts it back on That is not okay for the world premiere.

Cut to: Kragen's Team

Kragen, Aminee, and Meryl begin to pulls themselves up while the remaining Vulture troops close in with their weapons on them

Aminee: Smiles You wouldn't shoot a lady, would you?

The Vulture soldiers start firing forcing the three to hang off the ledge of the building to avoid the bullets

Aminee: I guess they would.

Kragen: Hangs on with one hand, using the other to draw his HK pistol and shoots at the shoulders over the ledge of the building forcing them back Now!

Aminee squeezes the ledge of the building with her hands, pushing herself up into a jump, drawing her pistols midair and firing at the soldiers from above. Meryl climbs up to the top and slice the throat of one of the soldiers with her knife. The other troops fall to Aminee's bullets by the time she lands on the roof and Kragen gets up to his feet.

Aminee: I think that went well. What do you guys think?

Meryl: Wipes the blood off her knife and replies sarcastically Yeah, it went swimmingly.

Kragen: Over there.

The three turn to see the people stuck on the roofs of their homes and heads out to save them

Cut to: Research Facility

Armando and Madeira continues to swim through the facility. They come up to a door, and Armando uses his strength to pull it open. Madeira hurling strings of electricity at the beasts that attacks them allowing Armando to break through and find a file with the name “Legion” on the front of it. He takes the file and the two swims back up to the top. Armando passes the file to Made, and Made gets up to the roof.

Madeira: We have the file!

Sergei: Snatches the file from Madeira's hand. Nods at her and then stomps her head in sending her back down into the blood before walking away.

Armando: Sees Made is hurt and grabs her, getting them both back up to the surface as he sees Sergei.

The Vulture helicopter flies over their heads and Sergei grabs the bottom of it, allowing the chopper to carry him off.

Deadpool: Is on the ground seeing stars

Armando: Pulls Madeira up to the roof and then stands up, running towards the ledge to see the helicopter getting away. He aims his gun arm at the chopper and starts firing with all his might, but the helicopter is already too far gone for his bullets to reach. He turns around to check on Made and then looks at Deadpool Wade!

Deadpool: Yes, sir?

Armando: What the hell happened?

Deadpool: Stands up and acts things out Well, you see, I was standing vigilant in the night when this Tekken character appeared and started using his 'mixed martial arts' though it was more like professional wrestling to me, and after having him on the ropes he came back with his last resort, and knocked me out, but next time, next time will be a different story! I have a comic book, a video game, and a movie coming out. I will not stand for this!

Armando: That man was Sergei Dragunov. You're lucky to be alive.

Deadpool: It's hard to die when you can heal, and when you're awesome! Poses

Armando: Help me get Made up to her feet.

Deadpool: Yes, let us assist the beautiful fallen maiden! Is she eighteen yet?

Armando: Even if she was she'd never go out with you. Now pull!

Armando and Deadpool get Madeira up to her feet and heads back to the chopper.

Cut to: Resistance Chopper

Kragen, Aminee, and Meryl see the civilians into the helicopter.

Meryl: You'll be safe now.

Armando and Deadpool make it to the chopper with Madeira who was starting to come to

Meryl: What happened?

Armando: We were ambushed by Vulture.

Kragen: Dragunov.

Armando: Yeah.

Deadpool: I scared him off and saved the beautiful young maiden!

Armando: Stares at Deadpool

Deadpool: Armando helped.

Aminee: And the file?

Armando: Sergei has it.

Aminee: Sarcasm Great, so much for that plan.

Madeira: I'm sorry. It's all my fault.

Armando: No! None of it is your fault, or anyone's fault. We've been dealt with a setback. We'll get that file back and return it to Imai.

Kragen: How?

Meryl: Sergei would return to General Vulture inside the Core. The place is impenetrable.

Armando: Maybe to soldiers. Looks at Aminee But not to entertainers.

Aminee: Raises an eyebrow in intrigue before the scene fade to black

#6 Rite of Succession

We open up to Moon Valley where Gabrielle, Tori, and Zira are staring down the Jherrazad army.

Empress Ranko: ATTACK!

The army advances for the city. The Moon Valley residents begin firing at the army with their rifles. Tori knocks one Jherrazad soldier off his camel with her cane while Zira sends several of them hurling back into each other with her telekinesis. Ranko drops down from her camel and charges at Gabrielle at full speed. Gabrielle crosses her arms and braces for impact as the two collide, their blades clashing into one another echoing through the air.

Alexander: Charges Tori with his sword in hand

Zira: Tori, to your right!

Tori: Blocks Alexander's sword with her cane

Alexander: Is that adamantium?

Tori: Pulls back and move a couple feet away Give the boy a prize! Spins her cane around and parries Alexander's in-coming strikes

Kaso: Marches towards Zira

Zira: Sees Kaso coming and pushes him away with her telekinesis

Kaso: Only move a few inches due to his size

Zira: Boy, you are heavy.

Kaso: What is this? Magic has no effect on me.

Zira: Not magic. Ignites her arms in flames Science! Unleashes a wave of fire towards Kaso

Kaso: Jumps through the fire and punches Zira in the face

Zira: Is sent through the air by the force of the punch and hits the ground. Wipes blood from her mouth I can't read his mind. Guess I'll have to do this the old fashion way. Gets up and uses her telekinesis to snatch the Jherrazad soldiers guns out of their hands and aim them all at Kaso. Firing off each gun one by one before impaling Kaso with the blades on the muskets

Kaso: Is move only slightly by the bullets and keeps coming despite the impaling, pulling the weapons out and continuing his march towards Zira, sword in hand

Zira: I think we've gotten off on the wrong foot. Uses her telekinesis to lift up both of Kaso's feet knocking him over onto his back

We cut to Ranko and Gabrielle fighting in front of the Razor's Edge

Gabrielle: Ducks underneath Ranko's sword and lands two blows in Ranko's face with the sais handles

Empress Ranko: Take the blows to the face, grabbing Gabrielle by the neck and throwing her into the ground. Rushes her and thrusts the sword towards her heart

Gabrielle: Quickly grabs the flat ends of the blade to hold it off, but feels her soul weakening as she grunts in pain

Empress Ranko: Moves the blade closer to Gabrielle's heart

Ares: Appears on the roof of a building looking down at the fight between Ranko and Gabrielle

Gabrielle: Feels herself becoming more weaker the longer she holds onto Ranko's sword

Zora and Joxer exit the Razor's Edge to see Gabrielle in danger

Zora: GABRIELLE!

Joxer: Charges, screaming angrily at Ranko as he raises his blade against her

Empress Ranko: Pulls away from Gabrielle and plunges her sword into Joxer's chest devouring his soul in the process

Joxer: The life in his eyes fades away as his body falls limp to the ground

Zora: Can't believe her eyes

Gabrielle: Has flashbacks of Eve killing Joxer. Grows angry and returns to her feet

Empress Ranko: Turns around and swings her sword at Gabrielle

Gabrielle: Gets too close for Ranko's sword to hit her, grabs Ranko's arm and breaks it

Empress Ranko: Screams as she drops her sword

Ares: Ooh.

Gabrielle: Grabs Ranko's sword and picks it up

Empress Ranko: Doesn't believe it

Gabrielle: Stabs it through Ranko's chest unknowingly stealing her soul

Ares: Now THAT'S what I'm talking about!

Gabrielle: Pulls the sword out of Ranko's chest

Empress Ranko: Falls to the ground dead

Gabrielle: Drops down to her knees and holds onto Joxer crying

Zora: Runs over to Gabrielle's side Gabrielle. Gabrielle, look!

Gabrielle: Looks up to see Alexander, Kaso, and the rest of the Jherrazad army bowing to her What's going on?

Tori and Zira moves over to Gabrielle and Zora while the Moon Valley citizens hold their ground in case the Jherrazad army tries anything else

Zira: How were you able to grab the sword?

Gabrielle: What do you mean?

Tori: That sword you're holding is called the Kasul. A soul devouring blade that Jherrazad both fears and worships. Forged in the fires of the Netherrealm. It chooses its users. Anyone it finds unworthy of its power, it devours.

Gabrielle: It devours souls? Looks at the blade

Kasul: Inaudible whispers

Gabrielle: I can bring Joxer back.

Zira: He's been ran through. Even if you could restore his soul his body would never survive.

Gabrielle: He can't die here, it's not his time!

Zira: What?

Gabrielle: Uses the power of Kasul to restore Joxer's soul, and heal the wound in his chest bringing him back to life

Joxer: Coughs and looks up in confusion W-what happened?

Gabrielle: Joxer! Hugs him

Joxer: C-can't breathe!

Gabrielle: Lets him go and helps him up to his feet

Joxer: Looks around at the people bowing Why are these people bowing to me?

Gabrielle: They're bowing to me, and I'll explain later. Looks at Kasul As for you...

Kasul: More inaudible whispering

Gabrielle: I don't want your soul! Releases Ranko's soul into the air

Ares: Watches Ranko's soul flies away That's going to be a mistake.

Tori: You need to get rid of the sword.

Gabrielle: What for?

Tori: The sword is evil, Gabrielle. It will only drain away all the good inside of you.

Kasul: More inaudible whispering

Gabrielle: You just want the power for yourself.

Tori: Gabrielle, that's the sword talking not you.

Zira: It's too late. Kasul already has a hold of her mind.

Zora: What are you talking about?

Gabrielle: Don't listen to them, Zora. They're lying. I'm fine.

Zira: You're far from fine.

Joxer: Hey, I think I know my friend here a little better than you do. She saved my life.

Tori: You may try to do good with the power at first, but in the end the Kasul will win out. It always does.

Gabrielle: Get out of my way.

Tori: I can't do that.

Gabrielle: Raises the Kasul and swings it downward at Tori

Zira: Tori, look out!

Tori catches the Kasul's blade with her cane and steps back as Gabrielle continues her assault. This act of aggression prompting the Moon Valley residents and the Jherrazad army to resume their battle.

Joxer: Anyone who messes with Gabrielle Tries to draw his sword Messes with me! Sends his whole sheath flying away from him. Chases after it

Zira: Follows Joxer

Zora: Blocks Zira's path and aims her wand at her Get back!

Zira: I don't want to hurt you!

Zora: Then why are you yelling?

Zira: Because everyone in this city is fucking angry! Hurls Zora's wand away with her telekinesis

Zora: Chases after her wand

Zira: Moves some vines around Zora and ties her up on the ground

Zora: Let me go!

Zira: Sorry.

Tori and Gabrielle continues to exchange blows, neither one gaining an advantage over the other. Ares watches the two duke it out, enjoying the battle as he threw a couple of mock punches himself. Police sirens sound out through the air as several police cars pull up and officers get out of their cars and take cover behind them to join in the fighting against the Jherrazad army

Tori: Oh, sure. Now the police shows up.

Joxer: Ducks down and holds his ears at the sound of all the gunshots. Finds his sword and grabs it, taking the sword out of its sheath. He sees Zora

Zora: Joxer, help me!

Joxer: Runs over to Zora and tries pulling the vines off

Zora: Hurry!

Joxer: Aims his sword at the vines

Zora: What are you doing?!

Joxer: Relax, I know what I'm doing.

Zora: Just get my wand, I'll undo it myself. Joxer, no!

Joxer: Cuts the vines freeing Zora There. Was that so bad?

Gabrielle and Tori's weapons collide as they push against each other.

Tori: You need to let go of the sword before it's too late.

Gabrielle: I need it!

The two break away and continue to parry each other's strikes while avoiding bullets at the same time. Alexander heads for the two, and attacks Tori forcing her to roll back and out of the way

Gabrielle: What are you doing? I can handle this.

Alexander: It is my job to protect the Empress at all cost!

Gabrielle: Empress?

Tori: Gets up If memory serves me correctly...

Alexander: Performs multiple attacks with his sword to keep Tori on the defense

Tori: Matches each strike and slams Alexander's sword to the ground, quickly bringing her cane back up and whacking him over the head knocking him unconscious You never did learn how to wear a helmet.

Ares: That has got to hurt.

Police Officer: There's someone on the roof! Get him!

The cops starts shooting at Ares

Ares: Watch the bullets hit him but have no effect on his body That any way to treat a god? Generates an electric ball in his hand and throws it at the police, blowing up their cop cars and sending the officers through the air in the midst of the blast

Gabrielle: Turns her head to see the blast site and Ares standing on the roof above Ares!

Ares: Waves at Gabrielle before vanishing into midair

Zira: Runs towards the blast site and uses her pyrokinesis to put out the fire

Tori and Gabrielle stare each other down, both trying to goat the other into making the first move as Zora and Joxer come onto the scene.

Zora: Locomotor Mortis!

Tori: Tori's legs locks together and she struggles to keep balance

Gabrielle: Delivers a kick straight to Tori's chest sending her into the ground. Looks back to Zora and Joxer Let's go!

Gabrielle climbs up on Ranko's camel and helps Zora up to the back of it while turning away from Moon Valley

Gabrielle: Everybody back to Jherrazad! Now!

The Jherrazad army follows her orders, returning to their camels and leaving the city as Joxer runs after them on foot

Joxer: Hey, wait for me!

Zira: Runs back to Tori What happened?

Tori: My legs are stuck together.

Zira: This is going to hurt. Uses her telekinesis to force Tori's legs open breaking the spell

Tori: AHH!

Zira: I said it would hurt. Grabs Tori's cane and gives it back to her as she helps her up

The two turn and we see the Jherrazad Empire running off into the distance with Gabrielle as their new Empress

Zira: What are we going to do?

Tori: There's nothing we can do now. I still have a job to do.

The scene fade to black

The scene fade in on the Jherrazad Empire. We cut to Empress Ranko entering her bedchambers to find a man laying on her bed.

Ares: Nice place you have here. Stands up from the bed

Ranko: Reaches for her sword

Ares: That won't be necessary. I'll be long gone before you can swing it.

Ranko: I'm a fast draw.

Ares: I know all about that. It's a shame you were emasculated in front of your men.

Ranko: Who are you?

Ares: You know, I never get used to that. People not knowing who I am, but that will change soon enough. I'm Aries, God of War, and I know where you can find Gabrielle.

Ranko: You know Gabrielle?

Ares: She and I go way back. Moves around the bedroom looking over stuff I knew her when she was just a farm girl. You wouldn't believe it looking at her today.

Ranko: Where is she?

Ares: She's held up in Moon Valley with her friends. Still trying to find out what happened in Aircano. Approaches Ranko I suggest rallying up your troops, march towards the city, and tell them to surrender Gabrielle to you or you'll torch the village, and kill them all. And when they give Gabrielle up, make your intention for peace, and then take the town for yourself.

Ranko: I have no interest in Moon Valley.

Ares: Then give it to someone who does. You're an Empire. Empires conquer! You're cornered in the middle of the desert with no way to expand your terrain. You keep this up, your men won't respect you, and you won't be able to contest with the best of what Isafaro and Hallowton has to offer. Moon Valley is the first step of having all of Jherra at your mercy.

Ranko: And you will assist in this?

Ares: I'm something of a strategist. The omniscience helps.

Ranko: Why do you want to help? Why want Gabrielle dead?

Ares: She and I have never seen eye to eye. It's sad, really, I could have taught her a lot. But you? I see a fire in you that I haven't seen since an old friend's passing. And besides, I love war. So, what do you say? Do we have a deal?

Ranko: Smirks

Fade in: Moon Valley

The helicopter lands in the city and we see Tori and Zira getting off, looking back at Wedge the pilot.

Tori: Thanks for the lift. I'm going to miss your old war stories.

Wedge: It's been an honor serving with you, ma'am. I'd stick around, but I need to get back to base.

Tori: Make sure Imai and the others stay out of trouble for me.

Wedge: Nods and takes off

Tori and Zira begin walking through Moon Valley

Zira: So, this is your old home?

Tori: I grew up here with Shinta, June, and the others. We went to high school together. Even ran an investigations agency for supernatural activity.

Zira: Really?

Tori: Used to hunt ghosts, zombies, all sorts of stuff.

Zira: Sounds like you lived quite the life.

Tori: Had more brush ins with death than I care to admit. Is the Razor's Edge still around?

Zira: Looks over to see a building with “Razor's Edge” in flashing neon lights above it Yeah. Over to your right.

Tori: I could really use a drink right now.

Tori and Zira enters the Razor's Edge.

Joxer: Joxer the Mighty, master of virility, every woman wants him, he's so sexy it's a sin, if you want a special tryst, he's the man you can't resist, by every measure he's a prize! Just check out his shoe size! He's Joxer, Joxer the Mighty!

Zora: Sitting at the table covering her ears

Zira: That's new.

Gabrielle: Walks up to Joxer Okay, Joxer. I think you had enough to drink.

Joxer: Nonsense! Barkeep, another round for everyone! Points to Tori and Zira You two, would you like to join in on my ballad?

Zira: Ballad? Who says ballad anymore?

Tori: No thanks.

Gabrielle: Grabs Joxer's shoulder and drags him back to their table.

Zora: Is he done singing?

Gabrielle: Yes, Zora. He's done singing.

Zora: Takes out her wand Can I hex him?

Gabrielle: No, Zora.

Zora: Just a wart on the edge of his nose. He won't feel a thing and I know the counter-curse.

Gabrielle: No.

Tori and Zira walks over to the bar.

Barkeep: Do my eyes deceive me? Tori?

Tori: Al. It's been a while.

Barkeep: I can't believe it. What happened to your eyes?

Tori: Long story. Al, this is my friend, Zira. We met during my team's trek through the Crystal Expanse.

Gabrielle: Overhears Tori's conversation and looks over to her

Zira: Nice to meet you.

Barkeep: What brings you back to Moon Valley?

Tori: Taking time off. You still sell Brandy?

Barkeep: You bet.

Tori: Give me a glass.

Barkeep: And what can I get for your friend?

Zira: I'll have a vodka.

Barkeep: Brandy and a vodka coming right up. Good to have you back, Tori.

Gabrielle: Looks back to Zora and Joxer I'm going to go talk to them. They may know what happened in the Crystal Expanse.

Joxer: Got ya. I'll cover you if things go wrong.

Gabrielle: Sits up from the table and walks over to Tori and Zora Hi. I couldn't help but overhear you two have been through the Crystal Expanse?

Tori: That's right.

Gabrielle: Was half of it melted at the time?

Zira: No, not at the time.

Tori: Why do you want to know?

Gabrielle: I have some friends who were awakened when the expanse melted. We're trying to free the rest of their people so their scientists can tell us how the Downward Spiral works.

Zira: The people of Kari are back?

Tori: You're talking about bringing an entire civilization back from extinction.

Gabrielle: They're the only ones who know how the tower works. We're just trying to find a way home.

Tori: I can't help you. Turns away from Gabrielle

Gabrielle: Grabs Tori by the shoulder and forces her back in her direction Can't or won't?

Tori: What's the difference?

Gabrielle: If you know something–

Zira: Hey, back off, lady! I'm sorry you and your friends can't get back home, but there's nothing we can do even if we wanted to help you. The thing that caused the Crystal Expanse to melt was a supernova.

Gabrielle: Supernova?

Zira: The second sun in Aircano. If it wasn't for the tower absorbing it this whole planet would've been destroyed. There's no way you'd be able to duplicate that power to melt the rest of the expanse, and it'd be a suicide mission to try.

Gabrielle: How did you–?

Ranko: Distant People of Moon Valley!

Cut to: Moon Valley's Entrance

Ranko is on a camel with Kaso, Alexander, and her army behind her.

Ranko: I am Empress Ranko of the Empire of Jherrazad. You have someone I want! The Battling Bard of Potidaea!

Cut to: Razor's Edge

Gabrielle: Looks surprise that Ranko knows that name

Cut to: Moon Valley's Entrance

Ranko: Her name is Gabrielle. She has short blond hair, barely enough clothes to cover her shame, and she is armed with a sai and a mysterious round bladed weapon. She is accompanied by a child in black robes, and a stupid little man in armor.

Cut to: Razor's Edge

Joxer: Hey!

Cut to: Moon Valley's Entrance

Ranko: If you do not hand her to me before the sun sets, I will burn this village to the ground!

Cut to: Razor's Edge

We get a closeup of Tori with a serious expression on her face at Ranko's threat.

Zira: Tori, she's talking about the people in the club.

Tori: Why is the Empress of Jherrazad after you?

Gabrielle: It's complicated.

Tori: Is it?

Zora: Stands up Gabrielle, we have to go!

Gabrielle: I'm not going to let this town be burned on my account. Heads for the exit

Zora: She'll kill you!

Gabrielle: I beat her before, I can do it again.

Tori: Get away from that door. I'll deal with Ranko.

Gabrielle: I don't need somebody else to fight my battles for me.

Tori: I'm not doing it for you.

Cut to: Moon Valley Entrance

Tori and Zira exits the Razor's Edge and walks towards the Jherrazad army.

Alexander: Captain Tori Jacobs, leader of the Isafaro's Resistance.

Kaso: This is who they send to represent them?

Tori: Nobody sends me.

Ranko: What are you doing here?

Tori: I could ask you the same question.

Ranko: You've no doubt heard what I said back inside the club. I want Gabrielle.

Tori: There's no Gabrielle here. Take your men and leave.

Ranko: I know you're lying.

Tori: I don't know what she did to you, and frankly I don't care. NO ONE threatens my home! I'm giving you one chance to leave. Just one chance. I suggest you take it.

Ranko: Or what?

Tori: I'll make you wish you had.

Ranko and her army laughs.

Ranko: You'll forgive me if I don't find a blind woman and her girlfriend threatening.

Zira: Girlfriend? Do I really give off that vibe

Tori: Now's not the time, Zira!

Ranko: This country is weak. Where's your army? Your city's defenses?

Tori: They're coming, and you'd do best to leave before they get here.

Civilians start coming out of the shops around them with shotguns and pistols, using their doors as cover

Ranko: This is your idea of an army? Men and women with rifles?

Tori: It's better than the muskets I remember your men using.

Ranko: As long as a bullet hits its mark it doesn't matter where it's fired from.

Tori: Agree to disagree.

Ranko: I'll give you one more chance to hand Gabrielle over. Do it and I'll spare this village and these people.

Zira: She's lying! She plans to take this city no matter what we do.

Ranko: Very well. If it's war you want–

Gabrielle: RANKO!

Tori, Zira, and Ranko look over to see Gabrielle by the Razor's Edge entrance with her sais in her hands.

Gabrielle: If it's me you want, come and get me!

We switch between Ranko, Tori, Zira, and Gabrielle before the scene fade to black.

#5 Innocence Lost

The scene opens up in the dungeons with Gabrielle, Zora, and Joxer.

Gabrielle: Zora, what have you done?

Zora: You wanted to take him out.

Gabrielle: Not like that.

Zora: I've seen you kill before. Why is it such a big deal when I do it?

Gabrielle: Give me the sword, Zora.

Zora: Throws the sword at Gabrielle I didn't want the stupid muggle weapon anyway!

Gabrielle: Grabs the blade, cleaning the blood off before getting the keys off the guard. Turns her head to see Zora already leaving the cell. Zora, wait! Gets up and follows Zora out grabbing her I said wait! We need to stick together.

Zora: A hell of a lot of good that's done me.

Gabrielle: Walks over to the other cells and unlocks them letting the prisoners out

Joxer: Are you sure that's a good idea?

Gabrielle: We need the distraction. We'll sneak out while the guards are trying to regain control. Come on.

The three leave the dungeons, already hearing the commotion cause by the prisoners as the guards engage them. They enter a room near the stairs and find their weapons in there. Gabrielle discards the guard's sword and hands Zora and Joxer their weapons before taking her own, but she notices the chakram is missing.

Cut to: Tower Throne Room

Empress Ranko: Examines the chakram

Alexander: What kind of weapon is it?

Empress Ranko: A type of throwing object, from what I can tell. A handle that splits in two, bladed edges all the way around. Cut her finger on the edge of the blade and watches it bleed before healing on its own Extremely sharp.

Kaso: It's a pathetic excuse of a weapon from a girl who will be dead soon.

Empress Ranko: A pathetic excuse of a weapon that disarmed you, so I hear.

Kaso: A lucky shot.

Empress Ranko: Was the sai in the eye a lucky shot as well?

Kaso: Says nothing

Empress Ranko: Returns her gaze back at the chakram and throws it through the air. The chakram bounces off the walls, Kaso's armor, and reaches the entrance of the throne room

Gabrielle: Grabs it when it comes to the entrance Thanks. I've been looking for this. Runs out of the room to rejoin with the others

Kaso, Alexander, and the rest of the guards in the throne room chases after her, only to run into the conflict between the free prisoners and the guards trying to hold them off.

Empress Ranko: Moves forward at blinding speeds, zipping by the soldiers fighting and sheathing her sword, her swings sending off loud explosions as the prisoners are cut to pieces and their blood spill onto the floor. She stops in front of the stairwell in the next room, blocking it from Gabrielle's group

Gabrielle, Zora, and Joxer are force to a stop. Gabrielle looks shock at how fast Ranko can move as they see the other soldiers surround them.

Empress Ranko: Going so soon?

Zora: Gabrielle, what do we do?

Gabrielle: Takes out her sais I challenge you.

Empress Ranko: You challenge me?

Gabrielle: Do you refuse? If I win you let us go free, or do you plan to prove me right before?

Empress Ranko: I have nothing to prove to you, nor can I ignore such an insult to my honor. Steps up to Gabrielle, and leaves a hand on the hilt of her sword I'll even let you have the first move. If I win you die.

Gabrielle: Get back, guys.

Zora and Joxer steps back to give the two room while the rest of Zora's guards also stand in watch.

Joxer: Don't worry, kid. Gabrielle knows what she's doing.

Zora: I'm not so sure.

Empress Ranko: Well? Are you going to make the first move or do I have to do it?

Gabrielle: Examines Ranko for a moment and then comes at her, throwing punches left and right with the sais'hilts

Empress Ranko: Moves her body to the left and right to dodge the punches, sheathing her blade and slamming the hilt into Gabrielle's stomach repeatedly at a speeds faster than Gabrielle can react

Gabrielle: Staggers back from the force

Empress Ranko: Follows after her, bringing her sword down to Gabrielle's head

Gabrielle: Swings her sais up to block the blade and delivers a kick into Ranko's mid-section, following up with more blows to the head

Empress Ranko: Endure the shots and grabs Gabrielle with her free hand tossing her over her head and onto the ground

Zora: GABRIELLE!

Gabrielle: Takes the ground out from under Ranko with her feet

Empress Ranko: Trips, but quickly lands on her free hand and then jump back up to her feet

Gabrielle: Throws the chakram towards Ranko

Empress Ranko: Hits the chakram with her sword

The chakram splits in half and continues to fly through the air coming back at Ranko.

Empress Ranko: Strikes both down to the floor before they could hit her

Gabrielle: Can't believe what she sees

Empress Ranko: Too slow.

Zora: If I can just take her sword... Reaches inside her pocket for her wand Gabrielle can end this.

Joxer: Stops her If you do that these guys will blast us with whatever those things are! Points to the muskets in the guards' hands Let Gabrielle handle it.

Zora: She's going to get herself killed!

Joxer: Trust her. She has a plan, I know it.

Gabrielle: Gets up to her feet with her sais back in her hands

Empress Ranko: Don't tell me you're tired already.

Gabrielle: Throws the sai in her left hand at Ranko

Empress Ranko: Runs by the sai and comes at Gabrielle with her blade's tip raise against her

Gabrielle: Predicts where Ranko is going to go and get within her sword's range, slamming her into the ground and getting on top of her with the sai to her throat It's over!

Zora: Is overjoyed with happiness

Joxer: All right! Yeah! In your face!

Jherrazad Guard #1: Growls at Joxer

Joxer: Backs down

Gabrielle: Let us go.

Empress Ranko: Glares at Gabrielle

Gabrielle: Let. Us. Go!

Empress Ranko: Leave this place and never return.

Gabrielle: Gets up, putting away her weapon and retrieving the sai and chakram on the floor. She motions for Zora and Joxer to follow her as the three leave the tower and the desert empire behind

Empress Ranko: Eyes narrow over the direction Gabrielle went in as the scene fade to black

Fade in: Campsite

Gabrielle, Zora, and Joxer are sat around a campfire in the desert. Joxer is asleep and snoring while Gabrielle sits next to Zora who was shaking from the cold.

Zora: Moves closer to the fire

Gabrielle: Not too close. You'll burn yourself.

Zora: I'm freezing!

Gabrielle: Takes off her jacket and puts it on Zora Here. This should do.

Zora: I don't want your stupid muggle jacket! Takes off the jacket and throws it back at Gabrielle. Gets up and walks away from the fireplace, folds her arms and looks out to the sky I hate it here. I hate this whole bloody world! I want to go home! I want to sleep in my own bed!

Gabrielle: Stands and moves up behind Zora I promise I'll do everything in my power to get you home.

Zora: Your promises mean nothing to me. We spent all that time in Jherrazad and we have nothing to show for it. Nothing!

Gabrielle: Is this really about being homesick?

Zora: What do you mean?

Gabrielle: Zora, you took a life. You saw his blood and watched him die.

Zora: He was just a stupid muggle holding us prisoner!

Gabrielle: He was just a guard.

Zora: So were the others. You killed them. I saw you.

Gabrielle: Yes, I killed. Wasn't the first time, and I fear it won't be the last. But I only kill when I have no other choice. The first time you kill someone, it changes you. Innocence is lost and the guilt threatens to rip you apart. I know what you're going through.

Zora: You don't know anything. Turns around to face Gabrielle with tears in her eyes You don't know ANTHING about me!

Gabrielle: I'd like to.

Zora: He was a bad man. He was a bad man who did bad things. He worked for that woman who wanted to kill us. He would have hurt others if I didn't–! Right?

Gabrielle: It isn't always that simple.

Zora: I was trying to help.

Gabrielle: I know, Zora. I know. I'm sorry I didn't show you a better path sooner. I'm supposed to lead people out of violence, not lead them into it.

Zora: Then it's your fault.

Gabrielle: Simply looks at Zora

Zora: It's your fault.

Gabrielle: Says nothing

Zora: Storms over to Gabrielle and shoves her It's your fault! Shoves Gabrielle again IT'S YOUR FAULT!

Gabrielle: Continues to do nothing

Zora: Starts beating on her chest while crying It's your fault! It's your fault! It's your fault!

Gabrielle: Grabs Zora and pulls her into a hug

Zora: It's your fault! Cries into Gabrielle's shoulder

Gabrielle: Holds Zora close, stroking her hand gently through her hair to sooth her Shh. It's okay. Everything is going to be okay.

Cut to: Morning

Joxer: Puts his sheath back on to his waist All right! Where are we headed next?

Gabrielle: We're not going to get any answers here. We keep moving to see what else is out there. If there's nothing we head back to the Crystal Expanse.

Joxer: Got it. Good plan.

Gabrielle Looks over to Zora, and then back to Joxer Why don't you scout out ahead, Joxer? Make sure the coast is clear for us.

Joxer: You can count on me. No one is a match for Joxer the–! Falls down on his face, but quickly gets up Mighty! Runs on ahead

Gabrielle: Walks side by side Zora How are you feeling?

Zora: Stares down at her feet

Gabrielle: You can talk to me, Zora. It's not good to keep these feelings bottled up.

Zora: I don't know how I feel. I never felt anything like this before.

Gabrielle: Steps in front of Zora and kneels down, placing her hands on Zora's shoulders You need to forgive yourself, Zora. That's the only way you'll begin to heal. It's all you can do now.

Zora: How do I do that?

Gabrielle: There's no one-size-fits-all approach to forgiving yourself. You have to figure that out on your own, but know this. You can rise above this. This can change you for good or for bad, and I'm going to do everything I can to make sure it's good. I won't leave your side until this is over.

Zora: You promise?

Gabrielle: I promise.

Zora: My favorite color is green.

Gabrielle: I'm sorry?

Zora: You said you wanted to get to know me. My favorite color is green.

Gabrielle: Smiles and straightens Zora's tie I had a hunch. It's a good color.

Joxer: Gabrielle, good news! I found a town!

Joxer points to Moon Valley on the horizon.

Gabrielle: Good work, Joxer. Hopefully things will go over more smoothly this time. Looks at Zora and smiles again But we'll be ready for whatever comes our way.

Zora: Smiles back

The three make their way for Moon Valley.

Joxer: What do you girls say to a ballad? I happen to know the perfect one.

Gabrielle: Go ahead, Joxer.

Joxer Joxer the Mighty roams through the countryside, he never needs a place to hide. With Gabby as his sidekick–

Gabrielle: Not a sidekick anymore.

Joxer: Fighting with her–

Gabrielle: Holds up sai Little sai.

Joxer: Come on, Gabby, you know the words!

Gabrielle/Joxer: Righting wrongs and singing songs. Being mighty all day long. He's Joxer!

Zora: Please stop.

Gabrielle/Joxer: He's Joxer the Mighty!

Zora: Stop singing!
